On October 5, 2016, Luke’s Diner popped up across America to celebrate the famous Gilmore Girls’ 16th birthday. Hubbub was the hostess for Luke’s, and the opportunity arose to visit. Walking in, a large “Luke’s” sign hung above the door. All of the employees wore the unofficial uniform- flannels, jeans, and backward baseball caps with the logo. All coffee was served with a Gilmore Girls/Luke’s sleeve, and a cardboard cutout of Luke Danes stood on the side. With the revival of the show arriving on November 25, this quick reminder of the show kept all the fans pumped for its revival. Coffee runs through the Gilmore’s veins, and the love of the show runs through the fans’.
